Currently, I am reading the book: Evermore by Alyson Noel. It is an amazing book. So far, it's about a girl named Ever who recently lost her family in a car accident. She's the only survivor and feels as if she shouldn't have been the one to survive. After the accident, she recieves an amazing gift: The power to read minds and tell peoples moods. Now of course, if you had this power, you would be thrilled but Ever is anything but thrilled. She doesn't want to know anything people are thinking and chooses to hide herself all the time in a hoodie and sunglasses, even though shes soo pretty. One day, a guy named Damen comes to her school. He is absolutely gorgeous and has every girl falling for him, but for some reason he chooses Ever. She realizes some possibly aweful things about him, but she can't seem to say away. Hm...read it to find out more!
3/5/10-- I just finished reading this book a couple of days ago. I give it an 8/10. Daisy and her family are psycics. Her sister, Rose, is dating and undertaker, and her other sister Poppy, is dating a ghost. (Yes, a ghost.) Daisy herself is dating a guy named Ryan. He's pretty normal himself...or so she thinks. One day at Nightshade High, Daisy's highschoo, a new guy named Duke attends the school. They accidently bump into each other and for some reason, Duke is interested in Daisy. Duke says that he is a fortune teller, but Daisy isn't sure if he's telling the truth or if she's a fraud. A little while after Duke shows up, a teacher at their school dies. Everyone has to try to track down the murderer and this all shows Daisy how unnormal her life is.
This book takes place in a small community. In this community, there are assigned marriages and polygamy is expected. Kids are taught to be obedient and NEVER talk back. At the age of 15, girls are usually assigned to much older men. The main character, Celeste is about to be assigned to a husband and all she can think about is how disgusting it's going to be. Celeste is secretly in love with a boy in her community, which is totally against the rules. She feels as if she wants to rebel against everything but if she does, her whole family would be disgraced and she would be kicked out of Unity, the community. She's getting closer to being assigned to a man, who probably would be twice her age, and she needs to do something...fast. this book was sooo good!
Saving Zoe is written by Alyson Noel. Echo and her family is getting through the death of her sister, Zoe. It's been a year since she died and her family hasn't been the same since. Her mom is on happy pills and her dad is not the same as he once was. Echo is starting her freshmen year and she can't get away from all the stares and whispers of the other students. She only has 2 true friends who stick by her, but even they can't understand what she's going through. Then one day, Marc, Zoe's boyfriend before her sudden death, comes up to Echo and hands her Zoe's diary. He tells her to read it because she wont understand who Zoe was as a person unless she does. Echo gets mad at this remark because she thinks she was very close to Zoe. At first, Echo doesn't want to read Zoe's diary, but then she ends up reading it. She starts to get really curious and so engrossed in her diary and shocked at the things she never knew about Zoe. This book was amazing. I loved it. 8/10. Alyson Noel also wrote Evermore (one of the books at the top of this page). She's a really good author.

Scarlett is a wrech and needs Halley. Usually it's the other way around. Usually Halley needs Scarlett, so this is a little tough for Halley to deal with.
